Teritip Crocodile Farm is a crocodile farm located in Balikpapan, east of Kalimantan, which is managed by a company called CV Surya Kingdom, this place is used for crocodile breeding, but it is also a tourist attraction for everyone who visits Balikpapan.

In this place you can find approximately 1700 crocodiles, you can see that they are very quiet, they just take a nap or they are just floating in the water, they need some attention and some of the species of these crocodiles that you can find there are about to become extinct.
What to do at Teritip Crocodile Farm
In this place you can observe different species of crocodiles and take pictures, but from the door, you can also see the crocodiles when they roll around in the shallow pools with murky water. These animals are quite big, but usually they have their mouths open waiting for the prey.
These animals are dangerous when they are hungry or feel threatened:
1.- The saltwater crocodile
Called Crocodylus porosus, also known as saltie, estuarine or Indo-Pacific crocodile, this species is so far the largest living reptile that exists. 5 meters long and weighs approximately 1000 kg.
2.- False Gharial Crocodile
Scientific name Tomistoma schlegelii, also known as the Malaysian Glacier and the Sunda Glacier. This is a freshwater crocodile that has a very thin and elongated snout.it lives in rivers, swamps and lakes.
3. – Freshwater crocodile
Whose scientific name is Crocodylus siamensis, also called Siamese freshwater crocodile, small grain Singapore, Siamese crocodile, Siamese crocodile, buaja kodok, jara kaenumchued and soft belly, are native to Borneo, Kalimantan.
