It is located in the middle of Semarapura, so easily reached from any direction in Denpasar, Besakih, Candi Dasa, as it is right on the edge of the busy traffic channels. The location of Puputan is very strategic as it is closed to Kertha Gosa / Taman Gili, the Center of Important Affairs, the Traditional Market and the Government Offices.
